Homemade Cuticle Cream. Having beautiful and healthy cuticles is usually as important as maintaining a soft and sparkly skin. That’s because your nails and cuticles contribute a lot to your overall beauty. Aside from being a part of your skin, cuticles also play a role in protecting your nail’s growth matrix – the part the nail that grows. This means that they also need a lot of your tender love and care in order for them to remain strong, healthy and beautiful.
Unfortunately, there are many factors that can affect the health and appearance of your cuticles. Some of them include dry weather, harsh winters, a lot of handy work, washing dishes using hot water or even failing to take care of your cuticles. All these factors can lead to dry, scaly and colored cuticles – all of which not only make you uncomfortable but also make your fingernails look less attractive.
And that’s why to counter these factors it’s always best to take good care of your cuticles. One way to do so is to keep them hydrated. You can achieve this by applying creams on them after a shower or any rigorous activity especially those that may have involved you dipping your hands into warm water. When looking for cuticle creams, you can buy one from one of your local stores or even better – make your very own homemade cuticle cream moisturizer using very simple ingredients at home.
